Hello to my wonderful readers and followers,

If you’ve recently looked for The Pink Lotus, The Blue Lotus, or The Green Lotus on Amazon, you may have noticed they are currently unavailable for purchase. I wanted to take a moment to explain this temporary change directly and share some exciting news about the future of the series.

Publishing this trilogy has been one of the most rewarding journeys of my life. Sharing these stories... born from my years of experience as an ER nurse... has been my goal from the very beginning. The passion for these characters and their struggles comes from a very real, human place, and the support I’ve received from those of you who have taken the journey with me has meant the world.

I’ve also listened closely to feedback and have done a lot of reflection since the initial release. A story this raw and important, one that aims to be a “small beacon of hope in the darkness”, deserves to be presented in the best possible light. I’ve realized that to truly do justice to the characters and the serious themes within, the series needs a final layer of professional polish.

To that end, I am currently in the process of seeking a professional editor.

My goal is to partner with an expert to address the flaws that were identified in the initial release. We’ll be working to tighten the prose, sharpen the pacing, and ensure that every aspect of the story is as powerful and impactful as it can possibly be.

This intensive editing process is a key part of the series’ official rebranding as A Necessary Darkness. As I’ve mentioned, this new title better reflects the gritty, unflinching nature of the story, and the forthcoming edited version will be a definitive edition that I will be incredibly proud to stand behind.

• If you’ve already read the original books: Thank you so much for being an early supporter! You hold the “first editions,” and I hope you’ll be as excited as I am to see the definitive versions upon their relaunch.
